Opportunity As a systems administrator, you will build, operate, and maintain solutions for on‑premises and cloud‑based infrastructure. You will help the Air Force move to the cloud while ensuring security and performance standards are met.
Responsibilities
Build, operate, and maintain solutions for on‑premises and cloud-based capabilities.
Manage and communicate risk, develop plans, and orchestrate execution.
Research current environment and recommend tools and capabilities across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid resources.
Share expertise with teammates and help the customer overcome difficult challenges in the cloud.
Identify new opportunities to build cloud-based solutions to meet evolving needs.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in IT system administration.
Experience with sustaining IT data centers.
Experience with cloud solutions and virtualization.
Experience installing and configuring server hardware.
Experience with Windows Server v2019, 2022 and 2025.
Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or Perl.
TS/SCI clearance (required).
HS diploma or GED and 9+ years in system administration, or Associate's degree and 7+ years, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in system administration.
Ability to obtain an IAT or IAM II certification within 60 days of hire.
Nice to Have
Experience with Dell EMC Isilon storage solutions.
Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes.
Knowledge of RHEL V7.9, V8.x and V9.x.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
AWS SysOps Administrator Certification.
Windows Server Administrator Certification.
Red Hat Certified Administrator Certification.
Security Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation Projected annual salary range: $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (USD). The posting will close within 90 days of the posting date.
