RN - Med Surg
Job Details: • Same day interviews available - prepare to receive calls from (405) area code • Work as member of interdisciplinary team providing nursing care through application of nursing process • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required • Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving) • Limited time off requests between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 • Patient ratios: Days/Evenings 1:4/5, Nights 1:6 • Float between Med Surg and Stepdown units • Care for all types of medical surgical and stepdown patients including med surg, neurology, and oncology patients • Experience required administering nitro, heparin, amiodarone including titration • EPIC EMR experience required • 3+ years med surg experience required (will accept first time travelers with 3+ years experience) • Float experience for medical, surgical, and stepdown preferred • Critical care experience a plus but not required • Scrub colors: black or navy • BLS (AHA) certification required • Iowa nursing license required
