Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional nursing knowledge and skills in patient care through the nursing process

• Same day interviews available - be prepared for calls from a (405) area code

• 16-hour guaranteed NBO (negotiable based on operational needs)

• Work every other weekend and holiday rotation

• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)

• Limited to 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26

• Patient ratios: Days/Evenings 1:5, Nights 1:6

• Float between Med Surg and Stepdown units

• Care for medical surgical, neurology, and oncology patients

• Experience required with administering heparin, cardizem, and amiodarone

• Must have 2+ years of med surg experience (will accept first-time travelers with 2 years experience)

• EPIC EMR experience required

• BLS (AHA) certification required

• Iowa nursing license required

• Skills checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission date

• References required including one supervisory performance evaluation within 2 years of employment
