Estimated Weekly Salary:

$1990 - $2130

On-Call:

6 calls per 6-week schedule

Weekend Requirement:

1 weekend shift per 6-week schedule

Flu Vaccine:

Required (no exemptions)

COVID-19 Vaccine:

Not required

Operating Room RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting

Active DC Registered Nurse license (pending status accepted at submission; must be active prior to start)

BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred

Proficiency in general OR procedures and specialties such as Bariatrics, ENT, Neurology, Orthopedics, and Urology

Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Two (2) supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required prior to start date

Key Responsibilities for OR Registered Nurse

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients in a fast-paced OR environment

Assist with a range of surgical procedures including total joints, spine, craniotomy, free flaps, bariatric, ENT/OMF, and cytoreduction

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams such as IV, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Lift Teams

Float to other units of equivalent or lower acuity as required

Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Comply with all facility policies, including mandatory flu vaccination
