Assist the Staff Physical Therapist with patient care activities
Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per PT Board guidelines
Maintain department cleanliness and equipment
Assist nursing on training of Restorative Aides
Communicate patient progress to the supervising team
Participate in in‑service training for other staff
Guide families and nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training for discharge
Qualifications
Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state board
Proficient in computer skills (e.g., Casamba, Point Click Care)
Maintain good standing license at all times
Meet continuing education requirements per state practice
