Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech Job Details: • Work 8-hour varied AM shifts in acute care setting • On-call responsibilities required with every 4th weekend call • "Buddy call" system provided during initial training weeks • No floating between units required • Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS CPR, CA Rad Tech, and Fluoro • ARRT (VI) certification strongly preferred • Must maintain negative nicotine/cotinine drug test results as facility is smoke-free • Scrubs will be provided by facility • Work with Epic EMR charting system • Assist Interventional Radiologists and nursing staff with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures • Provide care for emergency patients, inpatients, and outpatients • Maintain competency in all interventional radiology procedures • Perform radiographic procedures while ensuring radiation safety compliance • Acute care hospital radiologic technologist experience within past three years preferred • Must be able to work under potentially stressful situations • Deliver quality patient care to all patient populations Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing advanced interventional radiology services.
