MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid (13:00 - 23:00) Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: ARRT Certificate Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 1 year of EPIC experience required Description: Evening shift from 13:00 to 23:00. Rotating call with weekends required. Candidates must have an ARRT Certificate and BLS certification. First-time travelers will be considered, provided they have 3 or more years of experience. It is a requirement for all assignments that staff must float to other units and/or campuses as requested based on census needs. Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have previously demonstrated competency. Daily census involves caring for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The patient diagnosis includes a variety of cases requiring specialized imaging techniques. The role includes conducting MRIs across various procedures and applications, including abdomen, brain, cervical, and spinal imaging. Experienced candidates will manage and prepare the administration of contrast media and perform image post-processing tasks. The candidate should be comfortable following established protocols for patient care and safety.
