Responsibilities
- Administer HR policies, benefits, leaves of absence, unemployment, and payroll functions.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws and assist with external agency inquiries (EEOC, DOL, etc.).
- Lead recruitment efforts for both exempt and non-exempt roles, including onboarding and orientation.
- Support talent management initiatives, including performance evaluations and career development tracking.
- Promote employee engagement and retention through participation in company committees and initiatives.
- Provide guidance to supervisors on HR best practices, performance issues, and employee relations.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and support safety and compliance programs.
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of HR experience
OR master's degree in HR and 2 years of experience
OR 7+ years of HR experience in lieu of degree - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with HRIS and timekeeping systems preferred
- On-site role based in Greenwood, IN
- Up to 5% travel (occasional overnight trips)
- Valid driver's license required
