Metric Geo is working with a global leading vacuum pump, air compressor and blower manufacturer on an exciting new assignment. Our client has a global presence and is a leader in its technology, with offices in Europe, North America and Asia. They have a clear vision to provide its customers with the best solutions on the market. They’re product portfolio focuses on industrial & semiconductor applications.
The Regional Sales Manager is in charge of the daily management of all activities in all industries that are covered. These include, but are not limited to, food packaging and processing, metallurgical, semiconductor, chemical and/or pharmaceutical, woodworking or pulp. You will be responsible for direct sales and managing distribution sales.
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential new prospects for business
Responsible for the development and performance of existing accounts
Identify and initiate action plans to penetrate new markets
Arrange technical training and support to end users, OEMs and EPC’s and distributors
Participate in the daily sales activities
Generate new sales through prospecting new clients
Qualifications
Experience growing revenue for an industrial manufacturer or distributor
Vacuum Equipment, Pumps and/or rotating equipment experience preferred
Proven experience selling into industrial markets
A 4 years degree in engineering and/or business administration (preferred)
Skills / Personal Qualifications
Willingness to travel across the territory
Proven ability to sell and educate on technical products
Self-starting attitude towards sales
A critical thinker who requires little guidance to solve problems
High energy, self-driven person with an entrepreneurial outlook to business
