Responsibilities
Define and evolve standard software‑engineering practices, architecture, and procedures.
Design, develop, debug, and ship Cloud Scale Distributed Systems and Services.
Own significant features in Oracle Cloud’s Database Service offerings.
Mentor teammates, provide technical guidance, and lead projects individually and as part of a team.
Work with Java, Python, Terraform, and other languages as needed; embrace simplicity and scale.
Qualifications
BS or MS degree (or equivalent experience) relevant to the functional area.
Strong background in distributed systems, databases, and/or storage infrastructure.
Experience with Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, rapid‑pacing environment.
Capability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
