Job Description NDi is seeking a strong Program Manager with in-depth experience leading cybersecurity operations within federal agencies or departments. The Program Manager will lead efforts to provide cybersecurity and information assurance support for a large IT operations division for one of our federal customers. This role entails overseeing complex and multifaceted cybersecurity operations, ensuring compliance with established guidelines, and fostering collaboration across teams.

U.S. citizenship required.
Active Secret clearance required.
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate must reside in the DMV area (Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Northern Virginia) or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Occasional travel—up to 10%—is required to various locations, including Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; and Keyport, WA. Additionally, the role involves 4–6 trips per year to Philadelphia, PA for team or project coordination.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, communications systems management, or an equivalent STEM degree from an accredited college or university.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Ten (10) years of experience managing an IT team while serving as the overall program manager and primary interface with customers.
Five (5) years of experience related to information assurance.
Proven experience in program or project management, preferably within the Department of Defense or related fields.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly within IT operations and network security.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective dialogue with stakeholders and team members.
Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Proficiency in developing and managing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
Adept at change management and quality assurance processes.
Ability to establish and track KPIs for assessing project success.
Responsibilities
Assist with development and management of comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
Participate in cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Identify and assess potential risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
Communicate project progress, issues, and milestones to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Assist with defining and managing project scope, ensuring deliverables meet business requirements and objectives.
Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and evaluate project deliverables against established standards.
Adhere to change management strategies provided by the government to address adjustments in project scope or requirements.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Communicate project issues, conflicts, and bottlenecks, working to find timely and effective solutions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
