Overview We are seeking an experienced Infor M3 Functional Consultant to support the migration from an on‑premise Infor M3 ERP system to the cloud, with a focus on the Factory Track (Manufacturing Operations) workstream. This role will partner closely with production, supply chain, and quality teams to:
Capture current‑state manufacturing processes
Define future‑state workflows
Configure M3 Factory Track modules to optimize efficiency, traceability, and data integration across multiple plant locations
The ideal candidate combines deep Infor M3 Factory Track expertise with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, data integrity, and change readiness in a fast‑paced production environment.
Responsibilities
Lead workshops with manufacturing SMEs to document current‑state workflows, inventory movements, labor reporting, and shop‑floor controls.
Configure Infor M3 Factory Track modules to align with business processes, including Production Reporting, Inventory Transactions, Labor Capture, and Quality Tracking.
Identify gaps between current processes and Infor best practices; recommend and document required configurations or light customizations.
Collaborate with technical teams to validate data flows between M3, MES, WMS, and other operational systems.
Develop and execute functional test scripts for Factory Track scenarios; support UAT with production and warehouse teams.
Partner with Change Management to develop role‑based training, SOP documentation, and adoption readiness plans.
Act as the bridge between factory operations and IT, ensuring functional designs align with production realities.
Maintain functional design specs, configuration logs, and decision registers throughout the migration lifecycle.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
5+ years implementing or supporting Infor M3 Factory Track (or equivalent MES/WMS modules).
Deep knowledge of production reporting, order management, inventory control, and quality management processes within ERP.
Hands‑on experience with Infor CloudSuite; M3 version 13.x or higher preferred.
Proven ability to translate manufacturing requirements into ERP configuration and reporting logic.
Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams (operations, supply chain, IT, finance).
Comfortable facilitating workshops with plant managers, production supervisors, and technical SMEs.
Experience with multi‑site rollouts in process manufacturing or agriculture industries is a plus.
Prior experience implementing Infor Implementation Accelerator (IA) templates for manufacturing.
Familiarity with Infor Velocity Suite, Infor OS, or Infor ION integrations.
Exposure to MES/WMS integration in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Management, or Continuous Improvement principles.
Compensation range for position is $117,000 – 160,000 DOE.
