Assistant Store Manager - Milwaukee 1231

Overview Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics. Learn to provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance and provide feedback on areas of strength and opportunity while keeping in line with company objectives. Adhere to current visual guidelines including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.
Responsibilities Generate Sales
Produce sales gains by providing customer service.
Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.
Document appraisal of associate sales performance and provide feedback.
Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines, signage, and store cleanliness.
Maintain professional appearance per Dress Code Policy.
Control Expenses
Protect company assets within LIDS Retail policies.
Prepare store schedules providing proper coverage within wage control guidelines.
Accurately manage store inventory, including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts.
Maintain documentation and record‑keeping per LIDS Retail policies and applicable laws.
Open and close the store following Operations P&P Manual procedures.
Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Supervise Associates
Participate in LIDS Training Programs and adhere to sales & task goals.
Recruit and train store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
Encourage compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property.
Perform work of subordinates as needed.
Communicate with employees at all levels.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relative experience.
Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency and familiarity with software programs.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
Stand for up to 100% of the work time.
Work unsupervised.
Preferred Qualifications Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary by skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Managers PT are also available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
