Territory Sales Manager – Fluidra North America
Fluidra is seeking an experienced and driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. The role focuses on selling all Fluidra products, programs and services to existing customers while developing new business opportunities across the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Call on and sell products, programs and services to national accounts, pool builders, retail accounts, OEMs, sales managers, salespeople, plumbers and electricians.
Attend trade shows and tabletops – national, regional, local, NSPI.
Maintain an accurate Salesforce database of Fluidra customers.
Turn in timely paperwork, including expense reports and monthly reports.
Sell programs and services to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
Develop sales demand to support distribution of Zodiac products.
Represent Fluidra Sales Department for specific or unusual accounts such as Anthony & Sylvan, Premier, Blue Haven, OEM’s, Carecraft, UAG, and Leslie’s.
Work with management to report any changes that may impact the territory.
Send literature via fax or mail upon request and fill required forms for literature and special delivery via Shipping or Marketing departments.
Increase sales on a regular basis.
Compile lists of prospective customers in Salesforce for use as sales leads, based on business directories and trade show leads.
Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or discuss sales with customers on the sales floor or by phone.
Display or demonstrate products using samples or catalogs, emphasizing features.
Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders from distribution and national accounts.
Estimate delivery dates based on the company’s production and delivery schedule.
Prepare business transaction reports and manage expense records.
Qualifications
3+ years of outside sales experience and/or training.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong written communication skills for routine reports and correspondence.
Effective public speaking abilities before customer or employee groups.
Mathematical competence: ability to calculate discounts, interests, commissions, percentages, areas, circumferences, and volumes.
Common‑sense reasoning: apply instructions in written, oral, or diagram form and solve problems with multiple variables.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel by plane and automobile.
Education High school diploma or equivalent.
