ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Travel Opportunity: RN - IMC Job Details: • Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool position floating between MS units and IMC units • Must be comfortable with 1:4-1:6 patient ratios • Weekend coverage required with 12 weekend shifts per contract • Self-scheduling available • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • 2+ years of Telemetry experience required • 2+ years prior IMC unit experience in hospital setting required • Recent Epic experience is mandatory - no submissions without Epic experience noted • Recent Med/Surg Tele experience required in hospital setting • Travel experience required • Flu shot required and 2-step PPD required with no exceptions • Care for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina and trauma patients • Work with adults and geriatric patient populations • Manage cardiac drips, insulin drips, blood transfusions, TPN and feeding tubes • Experience required with tracheostomy/ventilator management, post cardiac catheterization care with TR Band management • Work with specialized equipment including chest tubes, pleurx drains, NG tubes, PICC lines, midline and central line management • Complete non-billable modules averaging 4-8 hours during orientation and annually through Relias/Net Learning portal Facility: This medical center operates as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced medical and surgical services to the community. The facility features specialized units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care units with robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
