Good Housekeeping is seeking a sharp, creative, and data‑savvy Newsletter Editor to lead the voice and strategy of our newsletter portfolio. This role sits at the heart of how our millions of readers connect with our brand—turning inboxes into trusted destinations for lifestyle inspiration and information.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
Write, edit, and refine newsletters that reflect Good Housekeeping’s warm, confident, inclusive, and smart tone.
Manage the daily and weekly production of multiple newsletters—from concept through QA and deployment.
Collaborate with editorial, design, product, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive and creative newsletter experiences.
Use performance data to inform content strategy and test new approaches for tone, subject lines, and formats.
Lead A/B testing and other experiments to improve open rates, click‑throughs, and audience loyalty.
Develop strategies to grow newsletter audiences and deepen reader relationships.
Uphold high editorial standards and ensure content complies with brand, legal, and compliance guidelines.
Occasional holiday or weekend work may be required.
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
5+ years of experience writing and producing newsletters at an editorial or media brand.
Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates editorial voice and audience connection.
Proficiency with newsletter platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Sailthru, Google Analytics).
Familiarity with project‑management tools such as AirTable, Asana, or Trello.
Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate numbers into actionable content strategies.
Passion for lifestyle content and storytelling that resonates with readers.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail—you never miss a send.
A collaborative spirit and curiosity about how audiences engage with content.
Hybrid work schedule: 4 days per week in our NYC office.

The base salary for this role is between $67,000 - $77,000.
The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
