We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Business/Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. This is a permanent position where you will handle a wide range of complex litigation matters involving real estate, personal injury, employment, contracts, and fraud. This role is perfect for those who are excited by the challenge of resolving intricate legal issues and are passionate about representing clients in court.
Responsibilities:
As a Business/Real Estate Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in real estate litigation. 2. Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for clients in real estate, personal injury, employment, contract, and fraud cases. 3. Evaluating findings and developing strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases. 4. Preparing legal briefs and opinions, and filing appeals in state and federal courts of appeal. 5. Negotiating settlements of civil disputes in the best interest of the client. 6. Conducting legal research and analysis of law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, etc., for trial, presentation before court, or other legal proceedings. 7. Conferring with colleagues to establish and verify the basis for legal proceedings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
1. A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the state bar. 3. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in business and real estate litigation. 4. Proven background in real estate, personal injury, employment, contract, and fraud cases. 5. Exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions. 7. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and build strong relationships with clients.
