What to Expect The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and executing the supplier capital expenditure (CapEx) strategy within the organization. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the global supply chain. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize CapEx spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and build strong relationships with suppliers.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute the supplier CapEx strategy: Align with overall business objectives to create a comprehensive CapEx plan that drives cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation

Supplier relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving value

Cost reduction and negotiation: Leverage negotiation skills to achieve optimal pricing and terms for equipment and tooling purchases

Supplier performance management: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement

Risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with supplier CapEx, including supply chain disruptions and cost fluctuations

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure alignment and optimize CapEx spending

Supplier development: Identify and develop strategic suppliers capable of meeting the company’s long-term needs

What You’ll Bring

MBA or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or with a focus on CapEx

Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving supply chain efficiency

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Global mindset and experience working with international suppliers

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Expected Compensation $126,000 - $232,920/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
