The Data Analyst – Guidewire Billing Center is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data to deliver actionable insights, with a focus on predictive modeling and business outcomes.
This role requires expertise in Guidewire data models (Policy Center, Claim Center, Billing Center), strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and support organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and prepare data for predictive modeling and machine learning projects.
Guidewire Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of Guidewire data models (PC, BC, CC) for data mapping, integration, and understanding data origins.
Technical Skills: Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading; experience with DBT is a plus.
Collaboration: Partner with teams such as Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Data Warehouse to align on data needs and deliver solutions.
Data Quality: Assess internal systems for data issues, develop protocols for data handling, processing, and cleaning.
Insight Communication: Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience with Guidewire Billing Center data models.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.
Proven experience in the insurance domain, particularly property and casualty (P&C).
Expertise in data profiling and basic statistical analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of machine learning techniques, including NLP.
