We’re seeking a Performance Test Automation Engineer with a solid foundation in Python and a passion for building scalable, reliable test solutions. In this role, you’ll design and develop automated performance test suites for Linux-based platforms, using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to ensure our applications meet high standards of speed, stability, and scalability.
You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize system behavior, and contribute to continuous integration and deployment efforts. If you enjoy solving complex problems and improving software quality through automation, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Automate Performance Testing: Design and implement robust Python‑based scripts to evaluate application performance across key features.
Analyze and Optimize: Collaborate with developers to interpret test results, identify bugs, and enhance system performance.
Framework Development: Maintain and evolve performance automation frameworks, including load testing tools and processes.
Test Strategy & Planning: Develop structured performance test plans and strategies aligned with business and technical goals.
Issue Identification: Detect performance bottlenecks and recommend actionable solutions.
CI/CD Integration: Participate in continuous integration and deployment workflows to streamline testing.
Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and methodologies.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and clients to align testing with application requirements.
Skills and Experience
3–7 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong grasp of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and performance testing principles.
Proficiency in Python for test automation.
Experience with Linux OS (Rocky Linux 8.8+ preferred).
Hands‑on experience with load testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
Familiarity with BDD frameworks and performance automation.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Experience with National Instruments (NI) PXI System.
Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Experience with Squish / Squish Coco is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
