Position Overview As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will work on challenging projects that directly impact our clients while collaborating with experienced leaders in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare federal, state & local income tax returns, federal and state tax estimates, extensions, and forecasting
Utilize advanced corporate tax knowledge and understanding to support the tax compliance and tax provision process
Review and prepare complex corporate, federal, and state tax returns
Demonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations
Audit quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions prepared by staff
Demonstrate understanding of tax return filing requirements for foreign operations
Conduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects to minimize tax expense
Remain current on developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures
Qualifications Sought
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
2+ years of corporate income tax prep experience in corporate, public accounting, or professional services settings
Knowledge of corporate income tax provisions and/or preparation of consolidated federal and state tax returns
Proficiency with automated tax processing systems and online tax research tools such as ONESOURCE, CCH, RIA, and BNA
Excellent advisory and compliance capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information
This is a hybrid position that requires working in the Florham Park, NJ office a minimum of three days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and/or at local client sites as business requires
Compensation The salary range for this position is $82,000-$96,000, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
