Akkodis is seeking an

AWS DevOps Engineer

for a

Contract

with a client in

Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL . Candidates must have strong expertise in AWS tools like CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline, along with foundational skills in Git, Linux, and Docker.

Rate Range:

$37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AWS DevOps Engineer job responsibilities include:

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments leveraging AWS tools and DevOps best practices.

Monitor and optimize system performance using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring solutions.

Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and related technologies for scalable application delivery.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and high‑velocity application delivery.

Maintain secure and efficient cloud environments by applying best practices for configuration, version control, and automation.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 5–7 years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in AWS DevOps engineering.

Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and tools such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CloudWatch.

Proficiency in foundational DevOps skills including Git, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

Pay Details $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
