Akkodis is seeking a

DevOps Developer

for a

Contract

with a client in

Charlotte, NC . Candidate must have strong expertise in Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud migration.

Rate Range $45/hour to $49/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

DevOps Developer job responsibilities include

Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab for reliable software delivery.

Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, including service mesh implementation using Istio.

Lead cloud migration efforts, moving Spring Boot microservices from on-premises to Azure, ensuring secure and scalable deployments.

Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) by implementing vulnerability scanning tools like SonarQube, Fortify, and Prisma Cloud.

Develop automation scripts in Python or Bash and manage configuration using tools like Ansible.

Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates, ensuring performance monitoring with Datadog, Splunk, and Kibana.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering and automation.

Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and automation using Jenkins and GitLab, along with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

Proven experience in cloud migration and infrastructure management on Azure, including Terraform, Helm, and security best practices (RBAC, Key Vault).

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
