About The Role Director of Property Management The Director of Property Management is responsible for the strategic and operational performance of Enclave’s multifamily portfolio. This leader provides direction, mentorship, and oversight to a team of Regional Managers, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and an exceptional resident experience across all communities. This role works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to drive portfolio growth, standardize best practices, and foster a high-performance, people-first culture. This role is accountable for delivering ownership objectives, optimizing asset value, and supporting Enclave’s continued expansion through innovation, talent development, and operational discipline. This position will be expected to travel across the property portfolio up to 25% a month or dependent upon portfolio performance and business need.

Position Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Oversight
Set and execute the division’s strategic vision, aligning annual plans and priorities with company-wide objectives.
Provide high-level leadership and guidance to Regional Managers, ensuring consistent execution of property operations, leasing, maintenance, resident service, and investor satisfaction.
Architect and champion financial, marketing, and resident experience strategies to maximize occupancy, revenue, and portfolio value.
Drive performance by establishing clear metrics and accountability standards for teams and properties; regularly assess results and coach for continuous improvement.
Analyze portfolio data to anticipate trends, risks, and opportunities; deploy strategic initiatives to address challenges and capitalize on growth.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Oversee the creation and management of operating budgets, ensuring financial objectives are achieved.
Ensure full compliance with housing laws and proactively manage risk to protect company interests.
Work collaboratively with the Director of Operations to standardize and implement operational processes and technology that drive efficiency, scalability, and service quality across all communities.
Partner with Enclave leaders to ensure property safety and successful capital project delivery.
Support vendor management and performance oversight in collaboration with the Director of Operations, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals.
Team Development & Culture
Lead the recruitment, development, and mentorship of Regional Managers and onsite staff, cultivating a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous growth.
Oversee divisional training programs to ensure robust onboarding and ongoing learning.
Model and reinforce Enclave’s core values, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
Resolve escalated investor concerns, ensuring outcomes align with company values.
Reporting & Communication
Deliver regular operational and financial performance updates to executive leadership and property investors.
Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies, championing innovation and continuous improvement.
Ensure transparent, consistent communication across the division and with cross-functional partners.
General Responsibilities

Punctual and regular attendance is required of all employees
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, property management, or a related field required
CPM, CAM, etc. certifications preferred
7-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in property management, with previous experience managing large multifamily portfolios and leading regional manager teams.
