Position Sales Engineer , Washington, DC area territory – remote work possible. Sell boiler and cooling tower water treatment chemicals with unlimited commission potential.
Responsibilities
Sell water treatment boiler and cooling tower chemicals to a variety of industrial customers within the Washington, DC territory.
Maintain the existing customer base and develop new business through cold calls.
Collaborate with veteran salespeople and provide technical support to customers.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Advanced degrees preferred; military equivalents such as Navy Nuclear Propulsion or Army CBRN School are also valued.
At least one year of technical sales experience related to water treatment chemicals.
Experience selling to diverse industrial customers preferred.
Knowledge of the Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC industrial marketplace preferred.
Compensation First‑year salary: $90,000–$130,000+ depending on experience, plus an unlimited flat‑rate commission plan (no cap). Car allowance of $675 per month and reimbursement of eligible expenses.
