We are seeking an organized and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant handling of materials, products, and shipments, including adherence to U.S. and international export control regulations. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and skilled at leading a team in a fast‑paced environment.

This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Logistics Manager Objectives

Embody personal core values that are consistent with company core values.

Manage daily export, shipping, and import operations, including scheduling, prioritizing, and coordinating with carriers and suppliers.

Oversee the inspection, verification, and documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Verify international shipments for accuracy of custom paperwork, country‑of‑origin labeling, and restricted party screenings.

Ensure compliance with U.S. and international import and export control regulations, including proper application of export control statements, licenses, and documentation (e.g. EAR, ITAR, ECCN, HTS codes, AES filings, Certificate of Origin, made in USA declarations, etc.)

Ensure proper storage and organization of materials.

As needed, supervise and/or train warehouse staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency and safety of work.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Document processes, develop guidance, and implement process improvements to streamline logistics and reduce costs.

Coordinate with purchasing, production, service, and sales to meet delivery deadlines and resolve issues and shipping claims.

Manage relationships with freight providers, negotiate rates, and monitor service levels.

Track KPIs such as on‑time delivery, shipping accuracy, and inventory discrepancies.

Prepare reports for management on shipping/receiving performance, logistics costs, and compliance issues.

Qualifications / Skills

Strong knowledge of U.S. and international export controls, customs regulations, and international shipping documentation.

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

Required: Minimum of two (2) years of import and export responsibility.

Preferred: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles.

Anticipated Compensation Range

The salary range is $60 k to $80 k, commensurate with qualifications.
