Job Responsibilities:
Solid background in building/civil construction science, business, and management, as well as related work experience within the construction industry. Candidates need to be able to understand contracts, plans, and specifications, and to be knowledgeable about construction methods, materials, and regulations. Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, scheduling, and estimating is increasingly important. Supervision of on-site personnel and sub-contractors is required. Experience as a construction craft worker is also essential. Job Qualifications:
Degree in Construction Science Management or similar discipline, or substantial related work experience in commercial building or civil construction. Relevant and proven work-related experience related to the craft is necessary. Demonstrated ability to lead personnel and sub-contractors to successful and profitable completion of projects is crucial. Knowledgeable in construction methods, materials, and regulations. Familiar with computers and software related to the industry. Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Strong multi-tasking skills are required. Able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. What do we offer?
