Assembly Operator (Manufacturing Associate)

Responsibilities As an Assembly Operator, you be assisting in putting together the door module assembly and/or window regulator. You will be assigned a station at the line. It will be your duty to wait for the to come to you and complete your process for your station in a specific amount of time. Once you are finished, the part will move on to the next person in line. You will then wait for the next part to come to you, repeat the assembly process for your station with the next part, and so on.

Responsibilities and Duties Attach components in prescribed order to assemble product.
Align, fit and secure components, using hand operations and fastening techniques for bench work.
Assure component parts and finished assembly component with all quality checks required by the stations.
Assure that component parts used are those required for the part that is being assembled.
Assist all other operators on line.
Perform the work of all stations on rotating basis as required by the company.
Move parts from containers on the floor or other location to the containers in the work area.
Sort and rework components on the assembly line or other locations to meet the quality requirements.
Perform work in a safe manner, following all safety rules and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Use hand tools, such as staple gun, hand pallet jack, wrapping machine, scale, computer, and printer, as necessary
Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications SPECIALIZED TRAINING, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE:

Physical requirements / Working conditions Office environment with noise from computer peripherals such as printers and disk drives.
Also works in factory environment with noise from manufacturing environment. Exposure to moving equipment, parts and electrical shock. Possible serious injury due to carelessness around equipment.
Sometimes lifts, carries or moves objects – weighing up to 35 pounds. Average weight limit is 3-5 pounds.
