Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has openings for Associate Manufacturing Analyst (Level 1) / Manufacturing Analyst (Level 2) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Operations organization. The position will be located in Iuka, MS .
What you'll get to do:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. You will perform activities within the operations organization while interfacing with a variety of cross-functional areas, including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, facilities engineering, and procurement.
Your duties may include producing plans that conform to 5S goals and sector initiatives, tracking tools and supplies needed by operations, and facilitating teams to ensure timely completion of corrective actions. You will also be the FOE/FOD focal at the cost center level, ensuring best practices are implemented and presenting data to leadership. Analysts will facilitate the onboarding of new hires to ensure training requirements and company access are acquired before reaching the shop floor.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable presenting data, perform complex tasks, and have strong problem-solving abilities. The selected candidate must understand the importance of discretion, latitude, and integrity.
This is a 1st shift position working a 4/10 schedule.
Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at an Associate Manufacturing Analyst (Level 1) or Manufacturing Analyst (Level 2) based on the qualifications outlined below.
Associate Manufacturing Analyst (Level 1)
Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of experience; Note: An additional 8 years of related manufacturing/analyst experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Ability to work within MS applications (MS Word, Excel).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance.
Manufacturing Analyst (Level 2)
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related manufacturing/analyst experience; OR Master's degree with 1 year of related experience. Note: An additional 11 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Ability to work within MS applications (MS Word, Excel).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret DoD Clearance
Experience in composite and structure fabrication
Experience in a manufacturing environment
SAP knowledge or experience
Salary Range: $50,100 - $75,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
