Position Summary The Nurse Manager plays a key leadership role within the Perioperative Services department, working under the direction of the Director to ensure seamless daily operations and exceptional patient care. This position is responsible for staff scheduling, patient flow coordination, and room turnover efficiency, as well as managing supplies, equipment, and resource utilization. The Nurse Manager also supports onboarding and staff development initiatives, fosters a culture of safety and accountability, and participates in employee evaluations, coaching, and performance improvement.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
Licensure/Certification
CNOR certification required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in Perioperative Services
Minimum 5 years of leadership or nursing management experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proven ability to build and develop high‑performing teams
Demonstrated expertise in maintaining a safe and efficient surgical environment
Proficiency in workflow optimization, patient throughput, and staff engagement
