About the Role:

Our client is seeking a visionary Vice President of IT to lead technology strategy and operations across a dynamic business division. As the senior-most IT leader, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, driving innovation, transformation, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with deep experience in enterprise IT, platform integration, and digital enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy aligned with business goals.

Collaborate with Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments to deliver technology-enabled outcomes.

Ensure IT investments are prioritized and governed for measurable impact.

Lead modernization and integration of ERP (SAP S/4 RISE preferred), WMS, CRM, EDI, and financial systems.

Partner with Data & Analytics to embed AI and intelligent automation across platforms.

Drive seamless end-to-end business processes and global standardization.

Establish IT governance forums and architecture review boards, aligning IT with enterprise standards while tailoring solutions to business needs.

Oversee change management and program review processes.

Act as a strategic advisor to divisional leadership and build strong communication channels between IT and business units.

Champion a collaborative and inclusive IT culture.

Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance customer and employee experiences.

Manage strategic vendor relationships and contracts to optimize performance and cost.

Foster continuous improvement and reduce technical debt.

Ensure reliable, secure, and resilient IT operations across infrastructure and applications.

Maintain robust cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and risk management practices.

Monitor and report on IT performance metrics.

Build and mentor a high-performing IT leadership team.

Promote diversity, inclusion, and professional growth.

Develop succession plans and deepen technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in a VP or divisional CIO role.

Proven success in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or e-commerce environments.

Expertise in ERP (SAP S/4 RISE preferred), WMS, CRM, and digital platform integration.

Strong background in AI, automation, and data-driven process enablement.

Experience in strategic vendor management and ecosystem partnerships.

Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.

Strong financial acumen and experience managing large-scale IT budgets.
