Parts Town , the fastest‑growing distributor of restaurant equipment, HVAC and residential appliance parts. As Vice President of IT, you will be a senior technology leader driving strategy, transformation and operational excellence across the division.
Job Overview We’re looking for a visionary leader who demonstrates core values of safety, integrity, courage and a passion for change. You’ll partner with business leaders, manage a team across applications, infrastructure and operations, and champion innovation—AI, automation, modern platforms—and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the division’s IT strategy and multi‑year roadmaps aligned with business growth.
Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, finance and other functions to translate priorities into technology‑enabled outcomes.
Lead transformation initiatives across ERP, WMS, CRM, EDI and financial systems, ensuring modern, integrated platforms.
Oversee application and data integration, enabling seamless end‑to‑end processes.
Champion the adoption of embedded AI and intelligent automation across applications, platforms and workflows.
Establish and chair IT governance forums, ensuring effective prioritization and architecture review.
Serve as a strategic advisor, embedding IT as a partner in decision‑making and culture.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, reducing technical debt and modernizing platforms.
Ensure reliable, secure and resilient IT operations, maintaining cyber, disaster recovery and risk practices.
Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing IT leadership team, fostering diversity and inclusion.
Qualifications
15+ years of IT leadership with at least 5 years in a divisional or enterprise CIO/VP role.
Strong track record in distribution, logistics, manufacturing or e‑commerce environments.
Deep experience with ERP (SAP S/4 RISE preferred), WMS, CRM and digital platforms, with robust integration knowledge.
Expertise in embedding AI/automation and enabling data‑driven processes.
Extensive experience in strategic vendor management, contract negotiations and ecosystem partnerships.
Excellent communication, executive presence and ability to engage senior leadership and boards.
Strong financial management skills and oversight of large‑scale IT budgets.
