About This Role We're looking for a player‑coach Business Development Manager to build and lead a world‑class SDR team across the US and India. You'll hire top talent, set up scalable processes, and roll up your sleeves to hit the phones yourself when needed. You'll own pipeline generation, team performance, and process optimization while working closely with our Head of Sales to fuel our rapid growth in the AI search revolution.
What You'll Be Doing
Build and manage a distributed SDR team (US and India) from scratch
Source, interview, hire, and onboard A‑players who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Create and refine outbound playbooks, sequences, and targeting strategies
Set up and optimize SDR tech stack (Outreach, Apollo, Clay, etc.)
Jump on calls yourself to test messaging, train the team, and close gaps
Establish KPIs, track performance metrics, and run daily standups
Partner with marketing on lead scoring, ICP refinement, and campaign alignment
Collaborate with AEs to ensure smooth handoffs and feedback loops
Build compensation plans and career paths that attract and retain top talent
You'd Be a Great Fit If You
Have 4‑5 years in B2B SaaS with hands‑on SDR/BDR experience
Have built or scaled SDR teams at high‑growth startups
Are comfortable working EST hours and managing global teams
Can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
Have a track record of hitting and exceeding pipeline targets
Thrive in ambiguity and can build processes from zero to one
Know how to spot talent and coach reps to success
Are data‑driven but understand the human side of sales
Bonus Points
Experience at MarTech companies or selling to marketing personas
Have managed teams across multiple time zones
Built SDR functions at Series A/B startups
Strong network of SDR talent you can tap into
Experience with PLG and enterprise motion
Know your way around SQL, Zapier, or basic automation tools
