Guest Experience Shift Lead – LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Milpitas
Join us to bring your leadership skills and love of FUN to the ultimate indoor LEGO® playground! At LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Milpitas, we inspire creativity, imagination, and smiles brick by brick. As a Guest Experience Shift Lead, you’ll guide our team to deliver unforgettable guest experiences while ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and full of energy.
Pay Range USD $21.50/Hr.
Responsibilities
Lead the Team – Motivate and guide your crew to deliver world‑class, guest‑obsessed service.
Keep Things Moving – Delegate daily assignments, manage guest flow, and ensure every area of the attraction is operating safely and efficiently.
Create WOW Moments – Handle guest questions and issues with care, creativity, and a sprinkle of LEGO® magic.
Coach & Develop – Support team training, host development, and help everyone shine as customer service superstars.
Safety First – Ensure health and safety policies are followed so guests and staff stay safe.
Lead by Example – Join the team in host positions when needed and model world‑class service.
Grow the Fun – Help with projects, audits, and engagement activities that improve the attraction and team.
Qualifications
A fun, positive, and energetic personality that shines in every interaction.
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 6 months of customer service, attractions, or hospitality experience preferred.
Experience leading or motivating others in a team environment.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
A “can‑do” attitude – ready to jump in, help out, and keep things running smoothly in a busy, exciting space.
Ability to obtain any required certifications or licenses to perform duties safely and effectively.
Working Conditions
Must be available for flexible hours – mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Comfortable standing, walking, and moving around the attraction for most of your shift.
Work in a lively, colorful, and high‑energy environment where no two days are the same.
