Compensation: $200,000-230,000 base salary, plus other incentives
Our client in the consumer goods manufacturing space is currently seeking a senior-level commercial counsel for its growing legal team based at its headquarters in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial, procurement, and technology agreements such as SaaS, vendor, supply chain, operations, talent, social media, influencer, etc.
Work cross-functionally with stakeholders and outside counsel to achieve business goals.
Build and improve processes; drive operational excellence in contractual workflows.
Qualifications
JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the New York bar.
8-12 years' post-law school experience in a transactional legal role.
Law firm experience required; experience practicing at a Big Law firm highly preferred.
Prior in-house experience or secondment experience required; experience at a consumer goods or e-commerce company highly preferred.
Significant experience as a commercial attorney drafting and negotiating the listed agreements.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a business mindset.
