Life Science Legal & Regulatory Recruitment Consultant at Larson Maddox We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our expanding in‑house legal team. This role is suited for a mid‑level transactional attorney, particularly someone transitioning from a large law firm, who is ready to assume broad, hands‑on responsibilities within a dynamic corporate environment.
The successful candidate will be a versatile legal generalist with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. A solid foundation in corporate or transactional law is required; industry‑specific experience is not.
Responsibilities
Manage a range of corporate, commercial, and transactional matters, including:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements (e.g., NDAs, vendor/supplier contracts, SaaS and service agreements)
Supporting corporate governance and entity maintenance
Contributing to policy development and improvements to internal processes
Assisting with mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other strategic initiatives
Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and contract management.
Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, IT, and other functions to support business objectives with practical legal advice.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Coordinate with outside counsel and oversee related workflows and documentation.
Enhance legal operations by improving templates, workflows, and scalable processes
Maintain organized records and support contract lifecycle management.
