Summary We are seeking a highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and business‑savvy FP&A Manager to lead all aspects of financial planning and analysis across our dynamic, multi‑entity organization. This individual will play a key leadership role in driving financial clarity, strategic insights, and data‑driven decision‑making across our portfolio of businesses—including yearbook publishing, book manufacturing, and a management company.

As a strategic partner to executive leadership and department heads, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for overseeing and continuously improving core finance functions such as budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and performance reporting. This role will be instrumental in aligning financial goals across departments, supporting operational efficiency, and ultimately helping the organization scale sustainably and profitably.

Responsibilities

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast process across all entities.

Build and maintain multi‑scenario financial models for revenue, margin, and cash flow planning.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

Conduct monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) and communicate insights to leadership.

Develop KPIs and dashboards for both operational and financial performance, tailored to each business unit.

Business Partnering

Collaborate with Sales, Production, HR, and Operations leaders to align forecasts with operational realities.

Provide financial insights on key initiatives such as manufacturing expansion, vendor agreements, and cost‑saving programs.

Partner with the CFO on acquisition analysis, ROI studies, and long‑range strategic planning.

Systems & Process Improvement

Drive implementation of FP&A tools, dashboards, and reporting automation.

Support the development of a future data warehouse to centralize reporting across companies.

Streamline financial processes to improve speed and accuracy of monthly reporting.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

5–7 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, ideally within a multi‑entity or manufacturing/distribution environment.

Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Online, or equivalent).

Strong analytical and modeling skills, with a proven track record of building complex financial models.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for non‑leaders.

Experience supporting operations‑heavy teams (production, supply chain, or manufacturing) highly valued.

Preferred:

MBA, CFA, CPA, or FPAC certification

Experience in manufacturing, print production, or project‑based service industries.

Familiarity with seasonal business models and school‑based products or services.

Success in This Role

Pay Base pay: $40.00/hr – $60.00/hr
