The Account Manager will be responsible for executing the strategic and operational plan as directed by Commercial leadership by representing our products to new and existing customers, while achieving sales expectations and quotas for an assigned territory. Essential Duties Drive daily sales objectives focusing on territory growth, including new account targeting, cultivation, and launch planning. Develop and execute territory business plans quarterly, implementing sales strategies based on relevant factors. Lead training and education during account launches. Present and implement Performance Guarantees in key accounts and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews. Transfer account knowledge and other requested information to leadership regularly. Gain access and develop physician champions in targeted accounts using corporate resources. Make key presentations to gain stakeholder support, including physicians, VP/Executives, and C-suite staff. Develop KOL advocates to educate and influence stakeholders regionally and nationally. Support contract discussions with hospital and IDN leadership to meet ASP and revenue goals, including facilitating new product approvals. Provide technical support regarding device suitability, imaging modalities, EKG, blood pressure, and procedural solutions. Coordinate with clinical specialists and align team efforts around the business plan. Make clinical and economic presentations to customers and relevant staff. Build and maintain solid customer relationships, including KOL cultivation. Represent the company ethically and professionally at all times. Develop relationships with hospital administrative staff and execute corporate contracts when appropriate. Demonstrate extensive product knowledge and contribute to training, marketing, and competitive intelligence efforts. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. Manage territory expenses, product returns, and inventory. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred. Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years in medical device sales, preferably in Interventional Cardiology or Structural Heart. Skills:
Knowledge of the medical device market, strong work ethic, business acumen, credibility with clinical staff and physicians, emotional intelligence, and strategic planning ability. Physical Demands & Travel
Standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. Lifting up to 10 pounds. Fine motor skills. Exposure to blood. Ability to wear protective clothing and stand long hours. Up to 50% travel within the territory.
