Job Title: Senior Legal Training Professional (Contract)
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Location: Boston Hybrid
Compensation: $50-$75 per hour 1099
Overview We are seeking an experienced
Senior Legal Training Professional
to support ongoing technology and professional development initiatives within a fast‑paced legal environment. This individual will deliver targeted training to attorneys, paralegals, administrative staff, finance professionals, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in legal technology training, outstanding communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to tailor learning experiences to different professional learning styles.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct
customized one‑on‑one and small group training sessions
on key legal technology platforms, including NetDocuments, 3E, and RocketProforma.
Develop and maintain
clear, engaging training programs and materials
to support technology adoption and user proficiency.
Create professional and visually polished training collateral and internal communications to support new rollouts and ongoing learning initiatives.
Leverage
Microsoft SharePoint
as the firm’s learning portal to organize, update, and deliver training content.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to support
change management strategies , including engagement planning and clear communication of initiatives.
Provide onboarding support for new hires, ensuring they are effectively introduced to firm systems, workflows, and best practices.
Monitor training engagement, track learner progress, follow up on milestones, and escalate issues as needed.
Demonstrate agility and professionalism in adapting training methods to different learning styles and business needs.
Model strong
time management , responsiveness, and follow–through skills in all interactions.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience
in a professional training environment, preferably within legal, consulting, or professional services.
Demonstrated success in developing and delivering impactful training programs across multiple user groups.
Hands‑on experience with NetDocuments, 3E, and RocketProforma is required.
Proven ability to conduct effective 1:1 and small‑group training sessions for attorneys, paralegals, administrative, operational, and finance professionals.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a polished, approachable, and professional presence.
Deep understanding of
adult learning styles
and the ability to adapt training approaches accordingly.
Familiarity with SharePoint and Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content organization and delivery.
Strong organizational skills, excellent time management, and a high level of accountability and follow‑through.
