We are seeking a dynamic andstrategic Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives andexpand our market presence. This position is responsible for the company'sgrowth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategies and buildingrelationships with builders and realtors and leveraging interior designexpertise to tailor solutions that meet the client’s needs. Key duties includemanaging client relationships, negotiating contracts and leading a team toachieve sales and growth goals.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties 1. Assumes Responsibility foraccurate and efficient performance of all Marketing support functions.

Strategic planning to develop and implementcomprehensive business development strategies to achieve companyobjectives and drive growth.

Cultivate and manage strong relationships with buildersand realtors to insure satisfaction and identify additional opportunities.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities toalign with business strategies.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance andbusiness activities

Negotiate and prepare design agreements.

Create a Business Development budget for all stores

2. Assumes responsibility forestablishing and maintaining effective working relations, communications, andcoordinates with Company personnel and management.

Manage and mentors a team of Business DevelopmentCoordinators, setting goals and monitoring performance.

Manage all aspects of event planning for workshops andspecial events.

Attend industry events, trade shows, and networkingopportunities to represent the company.

Keeps management informed of area activities and of anysignificant problems.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Business Development or Sales,preferably within the Interior Design industry.

Strong understanding of Interior Design principles andmarket trends.

Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonalskills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to travel for client meetings and industryevents

years in Business Development.

Education Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Business, Marketing or arelated field.
