Position Description This position provides engineering support to the Egypt Case Manager supporting FMS case activities. The C2 Systems Engineer will support the National Maritime Surveillance System (NMSS) project and other efforts working under the Lead Engineer.
This position will support the Lead Engineer by working with each Project Lead under multiple Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) disciplines, such as C2, Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), Aerostat, Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), Sonar, Communications Vehicles, and Microwave Communications Towers to ensure the individual projects can be successfully integrated the C2 systems into a System of Systems (SoS) architecture. Duties of this position include supporting the Case Manager and Lead Engineer in requirements definition, analysis of alternatives, integration, testing, training, production, installation, contracting, budget planning, and execution of assigned programs.
The C2 Systems Engineer shall also deliver/present briefs to external stakeholders to include but not limited to Combatant Commanders, other Joint Services, Security Cooperation Communities, U.S. Government agencies, Industry partners, and representatives from the Partner Nation. Experience with interfacing C4I programs such as (C2, Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), Aerostat, Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), Sonar, Communications Vehicle, and Microwave Communications Towers is highly desired.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline
3 years of professional experience in systems engineering
