Job Summary Job Description Senior Business Analyst, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Houston, TX: Translate the business needs, processes, and procedures of the Houston Commodities Trading desk into a workable system and articulate specific software requirements by communicating these requirements with developers and business stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders and internal technology teams to develop solutions, conduct development and quality assurance testing, and facilitate the adoption of solutions. Architect and design solutions aligned with the commodities business and the organization's technology roadmap. Allocate resources and implement Agile or Kanban methodologies for software development, perform user acceptance testing, and oversee deployment. Support the Trading Desk with daily activities, including explaining P&L variances, assessing risk reporting, and delivering scenario analyses. Work with stakeholders and leadership to prioritize resources, communicate proposals, and secure support. Manage professional staff to ensure project delivery aligns with business goals and assist employees in career development. Full-time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. #LI-DNI MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business Studies, or a related field, with 5 years of relevant work experience. Must have 5 years of experience in: Technology Projects Capital Markets, focusing on OpenLink or similar systems Requirements planning and detailed analysis Designing functional flows and high-level architecture Financial sector expertise, including reference data, accounting, electronic trading, trade lifecycle, settlement, and compliance Project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile Analyzing and testing software solutions for Capital Markets, overseeing Business Analysis and QA functions, and collaborating with various commodity trading desks TO APPLY:
