iSphere is seeking a highly experienced
Endur Business Analyst
to support and enhance energy trading operations for a Houston-based client. This contract-to-hire role offers a rare opportunity to contribute directly to the architecture, operations, and evolution of a best-in-class
OpenLink Endur
trading platform.
You’ll work onsite with front-, middle-, and back-office stakeholders to optimize trade lifecycle management, gas scheduling, P&L, and risk reporting—playing a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and scalable ETRM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and implement business solutions using
OpenLink Endur (v10 or higher)
to support
natural gas trading , scheduling, and logistics
Gather and document functional requirements across trading desks, risk, scheduling, and back-office teams
Configure trade templates, instruments, and market/reference data within Endur
Manage gas nominations, contract workflows, and scheduling processes across the full trade lifecycle
Provide
Level 2/3 production support , identifying and resolving platform issues and business interruptions
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve P&L and risk reporting accuracy and delivery
Partner with global teams under an
Agile development model
to deliver enhancements and new features
Ensure integration of market data feeds and support downstream processes for settlements and invoicing
Required Experience & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience
as a Business Analyst in the
energy trading sector , with a focus on
natural gas markets
Proven expertise with
OpenLink Endur (v10 or higher) , including trade modeling, template setup, data configuration, and deal lifecycle processes
Experience supporting front, middle, and back office operations across a full ETRM ecosystem
Deep knowledge of the
North American natural gas market : contracts, pricing, nominations, transmission, and scheduling
Familiarity with commercial IT frameworks and translating business needs into technical design and documentation
Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of
Endur trade configuration , instrument setup, and custom deal screen workflows
Experience with
risk reporting ,
settlements ,
P&L , and
invoicing
Proficiency in
SQL
for data validation and analysis is a plus
Core Competencies:
Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication across technical and business teams
Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced trading environment
Team-oriented mindset with an independent, solutions-driven approach
