Your Role As a Project Manager at Schindler, your main responsibilities include working with sales, customers, superintendents, engineering, and management to ensure project specifications are met, technical problems are resolved, and installations/modernizations are successful and profitable. Building strong customer relationships is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage new installation/modernization projects to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Review and book projects promptly, communicate delays, and provide action plans.
Coordinate with engineering and vendors for project materials.
Track project progress and address potential delays.
Handle change orders and ensure timely invoicing and payments.
Participate in professional development programs to enhance product knowledge.
Requirements
Bachelor's or associate's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or Finance.
At least 5 years of experience in the elevator or related building systems industry.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office & Excel.
