Job Overview EY’s Analytics and Data team is looking for a Senior Data Governance and Management Consultant to help clients define and implement master data management (MDM) strategies, technologies, and solutions. In this role you will design governance frameworks, assess data maturity, and guide the adoption of cutting‑edge MDM and analytics tools to deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data governance frameworks aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to build analytics solutions that drive tangible business impact.
Conduct maturity assessments and recommend tools, roadmaps, and best practices for data management.
Develop functional and technical designs for MDM software, including data catalog, data quality, and AI/ML readiness.
Lead multiple client engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery and client satisfaction.
Advise on data governance strategy covering data quality, catalog, MDM, analytics use cases, AI/ML readiness, and systems alignment to ERP/CRM.
Implement data quality tools and processes to maintain data integrity across the infrastructure.
Engage in requirement gathering, interpret BRDs, and develop source-to-target mappings.
Validate and document data mappings before migration to data warehouses.
Travel frequently to meet with external clients and stakeholders.
Skills and Attributes
Strong understanding of data privacy and governance principles.
Experience in enterprise data strategy and management.
Proficiency in metadata management and ontology design.
Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex information clearly.
Emotional agility and collaboration skills in hybrid environments.
Knowledge of industry trends and ability to articulate insights to customers.
Expertise in benchmark design, development, and delivery.
Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
Strong leadership and business outcome orientation.
Research skills on industry standards, regulations, and technology assessments.
Expertise in Data Privacy and Master Data Management.
Strong understanding of Data Governance and Enterprise Strategy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of direct experience with MDM tools (SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM).
ERP implementation experience, including full implementation cycles of SAP with SAP MDG.
At least 3 years of relevant developer experience in MDM software.
Strong understanding of Data Governance principles.
Experience with Enterprise IT Architecture.
Valid driver’s license in the US and willingness to travel internationally.
Track record of successful stakeholder engagement.
Ideal Qualifications

Track record of driving outcomes in collaborative environments.
Familiarity with digital fluency and hybrid collaboration tools.
