As a Senior Consultant in EY’s Analytics and Data team, you will help clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation.

Technology – Data Management – Senior Consultant EY’s Analytics and Data team is seeking a Master Data Management Senior who can guide clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies.

You will design and apply comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of data assets.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data governance frameworks that align with business objectives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to build analytics solutions that deliver tangible business value.

Conduct maturity assessments to enhance data management capabilities across the organization.

Develop solutions to complex problems, including functional and technical design of master data management software.

Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Guide clients in defining a data governance strategy including aspects such as data quality, data catalog, master data management, analytics use cases, AI/ML readiness, and system alignment to major ERP and CRM applications.

Implement cutting‑edge data quality tools and processes to maintain impeccable data standards throughout the infrastructure.

Engage in meticulous requirement gathering, interpret BRDs, and collaborate with system analysts to develop source‑to‑target mappings.

Conduct thorough examinations of source database data prior to migration into data warehouses and generate detailed technical specifications in alignment with BRDs.

Lead multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and client satisfaction.

Travel regularly as required to meet external clients and collaborate directly with stakeholders.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Strong understanding of data privacy and governance principles.

Experience in enterprise strategy and data management.

Proficiency in metadata management and ontology design.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Demonstrated emotional agility and collaboration in hybrid environments.

Knowledge of future industry trends and the ability to articulate these to customers.

Benchmark design, development, and delivery knowledge.

Working knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud technologies.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the capacity to drive business outcomes.

Ability to research and provide insights on industry standards, regulations, technology assessments, and forecasts.

Expertise in Data Privacy and Master Data Management.

Deep understanding of Data Governance and Enterprise Strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific field.

Minimum of 3 years of direct involvement with MDM tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM.

ERP implementation experience, including full implementation cycles of SAP with SAP MDG as a component.

Typically, no less than 3 years of relevant developer experience in master data management software.

Strong understanding of Data Governance principles.

Experience with Enterprise IT Architecture.

A valid driver’s license in the US and willingness to travel internationally.

Track record of successful stakeholder engagement.

Ideally You’ll Also Have

Experience with complex problem‑solving and critical thinking.

Track record of driving outcomes in collaborative environments.

Familiarity with digital fluency and hybrid collaboration tools.
