The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and The Division of Cardiology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. The position involves serving as an attending physician in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures for patients with congenital and acquired heart disease.

Responsibilities

Perform complex catheterization procedures including device closures, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, valve interventions, and hybrid procedures.

Supervise and train cardiology fellows in catheterization techniques.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Collaborate on clinical research projects.

Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. and eligible for an Illinois medical license.

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology.

Completion of advanced training in interventional cardiac catheterization.

Completed a categorical fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology with demonstrated expertise in interventional catheterization procedures.

Compensation and Benefits Start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.

Expected base pay range: $268,548 - $482,000.
