Responsibilities

Ensure customers have a seamless parking experience and facilitate the flow of traffic.

Assist customers in making payment to fully automated revenue control equipment.

Deliver exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise.

Assist in the day‑to‑day activities of the assigned location.

Monitor parkers in pay‑in lanes.

Maintain friendly, professional conduct during every customer interaction.

Help customers who have forgotten their parking location.

Perform other necessary functions as assigned.

Conduct garage and facility audits as required by management.

Count “bank” of revenue at the beginning of shift to ensure correct starting total.

Make change for customers before transactions.

Quote rates for parking services.

Give directions to city locations and assist customers to reach destinations quickly.

Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervision.

Answer telephone in a prompt courteous manner.

Maintain cleanliness of facility and pick up trash in surrounding area.

Present themselves professionally (neat appearance and uniform) at all times.

Arrive to work on time for scheduled shifts.

Complete any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications Education Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required:

Experience with automated parking access control hardware/software or a high aptitude for technology.

Availability:

Must be able to work second shift, third shift, and/or week‑ends as needed.

Location/License:

Valid state‑issued driver’s license if required for company vehicle use.

Skills & Abilities

Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide and make change.

Language skills: read, write, and interpret English; present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.

Reasoning ability: apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions and solve issues involving few variables.

Adaptability: adjust to changes, delays, unexpected events.

Judgment: exhibit sound, accurate judgment.

Other: use standard/military time, calculator, credit card machine; maintain pleasant demeanor; respond to customer problems; proactive with strong personal drive; willing to lead by example; willing to work flexible schedule.

Work Environment

Moderate to loud noise level.

Moderate to high exposure to vehicle emissions.

Moderate to high exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures.

Subject to all weather conditions.

High exposure to bright sunlight and nighttime conditions.

Physical Demands The role requires standing, walking, using hands, reaching with arms, close vision. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
