Location: Greater Tampa Bay area (hybrid; in‑office work one day per week; additional on‑site work as needed for business purposes).

Job Description The Contract Analyst will independently perform procurement and supplier management functions to support system‑wide agreements, capital spend management, corporate operations, and various activities related to contract management. The role supports analytics, negotiation, and development of corporate‑level equipment agreements, recommends products and/or services, and develops corporate‑level contracts. It secures competitive bids for required capital equipment under Shriners Children’s policies, supports business reviews of contracts, communicates with vendors and hospital staff, coordinates legal review, and maintains contract retention and file management. Duties include preparing and soliciting Requests for Proposal/Information (RFP/RFI); analyzing and evaluating supplier quotes and proposals; preparing documentation and selection packages for approval; and managing implementation of system‑wide agreements. The Contract Analyst also supports capital management and equipment sourcing, assists the Value Analysis Chair in facilitating Value Analysis Teams (VAT), maintains adherence to purchasing and contract guidelines, and develops RFI/RFPs to prospective suppliers. The analyst gathers data to support corporate metrics, applies analytical skills, and exercises independent judgment to make decisions and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate supplier quotes, proposals, and contracts; assist in developing agreement terms and conditions to achieve best value for Shriners Children’s on capital purchases.

Provide support and make recommendations to Legal, IS, and Compliance regarding contracts and BAA.

Negotiate, redline, and recommend contract terms and conditions; advise SCM staff on optimal usage.

Administer bid processing; prepare documentation packages, including summaries of proposals, analysis of responses, cost information, and recommendations for RFP/RFI selection.

Analyze purchase trends and make recommendations to SCM.

Make judgment decisions within the capital spend management system and recommend capital equipment to achieve best value.

Contribute to and support ongoing efforts to identify, recommend, and implement new systems or processes that add end‑user value, establish goals and metrics, enhance procurement process, and improve customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

3 years of experience in supply chain / materials management.

3 years of experience in contracting and procurement within healthcare.

2 years of experience developing and evaluating the business terms of contracts.

High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare supply chain experience.

Associate's Degree in a related field.
