QUANTUM AMERICA
What to Expect
Quantum America is on a bold mission: to save the American Dream of homeownership by delivering a new category of precision‑built, energy‑efficient, resilient, and attainable homes—all manufactured with advanced building science and deployed across Texas at scale.
We are redefining how homes are designed, produced, delivered, powered, insured, and maintained. Achieving this mission requires a Texas‑focused supply chain capable of supporting rapid expansion, flawless execution, and high‑volume manufacturing. That’s where you come in.
What You’ll Do
Lead end‑to‑end procurement of critical construction materials across multiple product lines and home systems.
Pre‑qualify suppliers by assessing commercial strength, sustainability practices, technical capabilities, capacity, and reliability in a high‑volume production environment.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers aligned with Quantum America’s accelerated growth and rapid‑deployment demands.
Structure and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and project‑specific contracts to ensure supply continuity and cost stability.
Manage efficient RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ) to secure competitive pricing, evaluate proposals, and award contracts on schedule.
Provide clear recommendations to leadership and support executive decision‑making with data‑driven analysis.
Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier issues—resolving challenges quickly and preventing disruptions to production schedules.
Oversee performance reporting, on‑time delivery metrics, corrective action plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
Operate confidently in ambiguity, making informed, strategic decisions that protect timelines, budgets, and quality.
Partner closely with Engineering, Construction, Factory Operations, Advanced Manufacturing, and Project Delivery teams to support EPC workflows.
Optimize material sourcing for cost, speed, reliability, and quality—always looking for ways to reduce the total monthly cost of homeownership.
Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes, leveraging insights from high‑volume environments to fuel operational excellence.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (equivalent professional experience will also be considered).
Minimum 5+ years experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or procurement—preferably in construction, manufacturing, or engineering.
Strong understanding of construction EPC processes and experience working with general contractors, owner representatives, or engineering firms.
Proven ability to execute independently in fast‑paced, demanding environments.
Exceptional negotiation, relationship management, communication, and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of contract law, construction contract models, and procurement best practices.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to evolving demands, improvise thoughtfully, and solve problems in real time.
A mission‑focused mindset and a passion for contributing to an initiative aimed at restoring access to homeownership for working families.
